Our Program Overview
At Edge Lacrosse, we are committed to providing Canadian athletes with the tools they need to succeed at the highest levels of lacrosse competition. Our Girl’s Academy is a major asset of Edge Nation. We have built a community of female athletes who strive for athletic and academic excellence.
Our Girl's Academy is designed exclusively for girls aged 7-17, providing elite performance pathways and ultimate flexibility for multi-sport athletes. At Edge, we provide a positive training environment and club culture where we encourage, support and inspire young female athletes to reach their full potential.
The Edge Girl's Academy training will focus on developing all aspects of the skills required to play Lacrosse at an elite level. Our program concentrates primarily on Field Lacrosse, but our training incorporates a hybrid Box and Field lacrosse training model to make a versatile player.
With our unlimited training, you can be sure you're getting the most development possible. With over two decades of experience helping our athletes navigate the complex world of college sports, our recruiting support is a key benefit of the Academy Membership.

President and founder Stuart Brown leads the EDGE Academy Coaching and College Recruiting in every aspect. Stu is a long-time lacrosse player and executive, having served in the following roles:
Rochester Nighthawks - AGM - 3X NLL CHAMPION (2012,2013,2014)
Toronto Nationals - MLL - President/GM - 2009 MLL Champions
Team Canada Mens Box - AGM - 2011 Gold Medal

Olivia is a seasoned Coach with years of high level on field experience as well. She played D1 NCAA at the University of Louisville for 4 years, then continued to play college at UOIT. She has also played on Team Canada throughout her career. Olivia brings years of coaching experience between coaching with the Lady Blue Knights, camps and with Edge.

Travis is a wealth of knowledge for our Girl's and JR academy athletes. He focuses on teaching high quality fundamentals and creating a positive team culture within our seasonal training groups and teams.
Jerica Obee - Coac

Travis Kanellos - Coach
Jerica has many years of experience playing and coaching lacrosse and we're glad to have her expertise in our program. Jerica played 4 years of NCAA D1 experience at Robert Morris University and has been coaching with the Orillia Lady Kings in the summers for some time. Most recently, she has been coaching our Varsity and JV girls teams during their fall seasons and you'll see her at Burlington Training year round.
